…on top of a heap of laundry I need to do.

I cannot bring myself to finish any of my drawings lately. I’m slacking off more and more each day. I cannot explain this phenomenon. I just…have lost the motivation for some reason. I’m thinking more conceptually, more abstract, nowadays…. Am starting to lose interest in this strange style of mine; however, I can’t shake the impact/influence it has every time I pick up and pencil or pen and start a new project.

I have been there. What I do is, I force myself to keep drawing until the creativity starts flowing again. But it’s also ok to step away from what we love to do, if done right, a return can be very invigorating and can allow for growth.
